RESPONSIBLE GAMING RULES

These responsible gambling rules are aimed at preventing and minimizing the negative consequences of an individual's participation in gambling, and measures aimed at organizing self-restrictions and self-control for players.

The Organizer has introduced these Responsible Gaming Rules in order to take measures to combat gambling addiction (ludomania) and to prevent persons under the age of 21 from gambling.

The Organizer carries out its activities in compliance with the principles of responsible gambling, namely:

  • Ensures player identification during activities in accordance with the laws of Ukraine;
  • Restricts player participation in gambling, meaning it does not permit participation by persons whose access to gambling is restricted, or persons with a manifest gambling addiction (ludomania);
  • Ensures no stimulation of player losses, whereby the Organizer refrains from providing players with any bonus payments, gifts, and/or goods (services) in any form, or using other types of incentives, the provision of which is directly or indirectly contingent upon the occurrence of a player's loss in a respective gamble;
  • Ensures the absence of encouragement to play — the gambling organizer refrains from actions that induce or may induce a player(s) to continue playing after they have decided to stop (initiating game termination, taking a break, logging out of the personal account, or closing the personal account), and may not offer or provide players with alcoholic beverages, beer, low-alcohol drinks, table wines, or tobacco products free of charge or as a reward for participation in gambling;
  • Ensures the prevention of gambling addiction (ludomania) — the gambling organizer displays informational materials regarding gambling addiction and responsible gaming, which must include information on age limits, odds of winning, principles of responsible gaming, signs of manifest gambling addiction, and the activities of organizations, healthcare facilities, and/or medical professionals who treat gambling addiction (contact details, support hotline);
  • Ensures self-control — the gambling organizer informs the player(s) about the need to adhere to limits on gambling expenses and participation time, does not allow player(s) to participate in gambling without establishing such limits before the game begins, and ensures monitoring of compliance with these established limits;
  • Ensures the possibility of self-restriction — the gambling organizer restricts an individual's access to gambling establishments and/or participation in gambling in accordance with Article 16 of the Law;
  • Ensures the provision of information to players and visitors — the gambling organizer displays on the website and/or in the mobile application the full name of the gambling organizer as per the constituent documents, the registered office address and actual location, the identification code of the gambling organizer, the decision on license issuance (date, number, and validity period), the organizer's rules, the rules of the games, information on the total winning percentage (theoretical Return to Player - RTP), a notice regarding the possibility of losing and loss of funds, and the procedure and terms for the payout of winnings (prizes), provided in the state language and translated into English;
  • Ensures the awareness of the gambling organizer's personnel — the gambling organizer provides briefings for personnel on the principles of responsible gambling and measures aimed at preventing gambling addiction;
  • Ensures social interaction — the gambling organizer disseminates socially significant information regarding the prevention and minimization of the negative consequences of gambling participation and manifestations of gambling addiction (ludomania), provides information on the availability of necessary social services (contact details of service providers), and may support social initiatives (projects, programs, research).

The organizer emphasizes that any gambling is intended for entertainment purposes only. Before starting the game, players must understand that the game should not be considered as a source of income or as a way to repay loans or debts.

Also, gambling does not solve financial, social or emotional problems. Gambling is not a way to cope with moral or physical pain and should not take up a significant part of your life.

Players should remember that in case of loss, they should not try to win back, as a rash attempt to reimburse expenses can increase them.

Gambling is prohibited for persons under the age of 21, persons suffering from gambling addiction and persons included in the Register of persons with restricted access to gambling facilities. Any person under the age of 21 has no right to participate in gambling.

To establish the player's age, the Organizer shall check the documents proving the age of the person who intends to take part in the gaming.

Mandatory Limits:

Prior to participating in gambling, the Player is obliged to independently set limits on gambling expenses and limits on the duration of participation in gambling.

The limits established by the Player shall apply to the Organizer's Website and Mobile Application.

Limits are set in the Player's Personal Account, specifically in the "Responsible Gaming" section.

For the purposes of establishing expenditure limitations, a Player’s gambling spending limits shall be understood as the difference between the amount of Game Balance Top-up and the amount of Payout to the Player for the corresponding period (day/week/month).

The Player's gambling expenditure limits are set on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. These limits are established as a percentage of the Player's average monthly income, as determined by the Player themselves (hereinafter referred to as "average monthly income"), and may not exceed:

  • Daily (from 00:00 to 23:59): 15% of the average monthly income;
  • Weekly (from 00:00 Monday to 23:59 Sunday): 25% of the average monthly income;
  • Monthly (from 00:00 on the first day of the calendar month to 23:59 on the last day of the month): 40% of the average monthly income.

The Player's gambling time limits are also set on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The time limits for participating in gambling must be:

  • Daily (from 00:00 to 23:59): from 1 to 6 hours;
  • Weekly (from 00:00 Monday to 23:59 Sunday): from 7 to 21 hours;
  • Monthly (from 00:00 on the first day of the calendar month to 23:59 on the last day of the month): from 22 to 100 hours.

The maximum duration of a player's continuous participation in gambling may not exceed 2 hours, followed by a mandatory break of at least 15 minutes. The tracking of the player's participation time begins from the moment the player places a bet and is calculated with per-second precision.

A Player may change their established gambling expenditure limits no more than once per month.

If a Player experiences difficulties setting these limits, they may contact the Organizer's support service via email at support@ggbet.ua, through the online chat, or by the phone number provided on the Website.

Time spent in the Personal Account on the Website and/or mobile application, or within the game itself, is not included in the gambling participation time if the Player is not placing bets.

In the event of non-compliance with the requirements for setting spending limits and gambling participation time, the Player shall not be permitted to participate in gambling games on the Organizer's Website and Mobile Application.

The approach to determining a Player's gambling spending limits is applied for the purpose of adhering to the principles of responsible gaming and minimizing the negative consequences of an individual's participation in gambling; however, such provisions do not extend to the procedure for taxing personal income or the income of the gambling organizer and may not be used by the state tax authorities in their activities against the Operator.

Parental control:

In case you have children under the age of 21, you are obliged to install "Parental Control" on your computer and block the possibility of children's access to the Organizer's Website in any way convenient for you. "Parental control" may be by setting a password on the operating system. In no case do not leave your account access data in a place easily accessible to children. Additionally, you can install software that will block access to the Website or access to the Internet without entering a password. If you do not know how to block access, please contact us at support@ggbet.ua, our support team will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to do it.

The organizer does not provide services to the following list of persons:

  • persons included in the Register of persons with restricted access to gambling facilities and/or participating in gambling;
  • persons under the age of 21;
  • persons who have the status of and/or have been recognized as incapacitated or partially incapacitated.

Chances to win:

Your chances to win are set out on each game page or in the rules of the relevant game. Before participating in a game of chance, you must understand that you have a chance to lose the amount of your bet, and such bet will not be returned to you. The organizer notes that the total winning percentage (theoretical return to player), i.e. the average percentage of the amount of bets received from players, returned to the player as a win (prize) during one million games is 95 - 98%, unless otherwise specified on the Website with the relevant game or the rules of the relevant game.

Signs of gambling addiction (ludomania), its prevention and rest from gambling:

Typical signs of gambling addiction (ludomania) are:

  • irresistible need to gamble;
  • feeling strong internal pressure and anxiety if you cannot gamble;
  • inability to control the gambling process;
  • inability to stop and, as a result, continuation of gambling even with negative consequences, such as financial losses;
  • deterioration of the general financial situation, accumulation of debts and possible loss of property;
  • psychological and physical consequences;
  • stress, anxiety, depression and physical problems such as insomnia and poor nutrition.

In order to predict the presence of symptoms of gambling addiction, the Organizer recommends that players periodically take the following survey:

1. Have you ever sold your belongings in order to use the profit from the sale to participate in gambling?
2. Do you gamble to escape sadness, loneliness, or the need to solve problems?
3. Do you have a desire to return to gambling immediately after winning in order to win even more?
4. Have you ever risked losing your home or job because of your gambling problem?
5. After losing, have you ever had an unbearable desire to return to the game as soon as possible in order to win back your losses?
6. Have you ever had trouble sleeping because of excessive gambling?
7. Do you often lie about how much money or time you spend on gambling?
8. Do you spend the vast majority of your free time gambling?
9. Do you spend most of your earnings on gambling?
10. Do you borrow money to gamble?
11. Have your relationships with family and friends deteriorated because of your gambling?

If you answered "No" to two or less than two of the above questions, the Organizer advises you to monitor your condition and periodically take the above survey. We also recommend that you take the test at this link.

If you answered "Yes" to three or more than three questions listed above, there is a sufficient risk that you have problems related to gambling addiction, and therefore the Organizer advises you to contact specialized specialists in the field of gambling addiction (ludomania) treatment.

Also, in case of detecting signs of gambling addiction, the Organizer advises you to contact your relatives or friends and inform them about the presence of relevant signs, as well as to contact the Organizer or the Authorized Body with an application for self-restraint.

You can take a break from gambling by setting self-restrictions or self-control in accordance with the Organizer's rules.

Do not neglect your health, in case of signs or symptoms of gambling addiction (ludomania), contact the appropriate medical institution as soon as possible.
